This is such a stunning and flowing drawing. The artist's desire to add movement and a sense of impact through the very creative and beautifully drawn mane is powerful. I love the contrast between the gradual changing colour of mane, which is expertly shaded, with the subtle shadow on Princess Celestia's body. It gives a sense of immediacy and a feeling of place, as she looks like she is standing perhaps in a meadow as wind flows though her hair. I adore more younger and large eye depictions of Princess Celestia, as it reaffirms the more youthful appearance she perhaps once had over her more mature stature now. The stylised body shape that is petite and high legged, is a great way to help reinforce overwhelming presence of the gorgeous mane's power and size. This is an incredible drawing, the artist is clearly very skilled and capable of creating great presence and movement in their artwork.
